I ett samarbete med Consulate General of Sweden Shanghai och British Consulate-General Shanghai visades ett längre filmprogram med bland annat två kortfilmer från Sverige som tävlat i Sveriges Kortfilmfestival. Filmerna som visades var: “Being a Dog” (2022) av Felix Swahn och “The Giant” (2020) av Lizette Gunnesson.
At the 27 of June 2023 and in connection with the Deafblind Awareness Week several short films were shown. In this joint screening, short films from Sweden and UK to Shanghai audiences with a focus on disability awareness. The screening took place at the UK consulate with a room of around 80 audiences included local communities of people with disabilities. The audience included a lot of people from the deaf community, but also people focus on the topic of accessibility. Just to name a few categories, deaf actress, Shanghai international deaf film festival founder, sign language training school, Community service center for the disabled, international university in Shanghai, local community colleague teacher, NGO, university students who had learned sign language before, playwriter, lawyer, etc.
